Warranty & Protection Plans

When you invest in furniture, you want to know it's protected. At FWDG, we stand behind the products we sell and work directly with manufacturers to help resolve any warranty issues that come up. We also offer optional protection plans for added peace of mind against everyday accidents. Here's everything you need to know.

Manufacturer Warranty

The furniture we carry at FWDG is backed by the warranties provided by each manufacturer. In the event of a warranty issue with a non-clearance item, the manufacturer will determine the appropriate course of action, and FWDG will assist you throughout the entire process.

We follow the protocol set by the manufacturer and act as your point of contact so you don't have to navigate it alone. Whether it's a structural defect, a hardware issue, or a material concern, we'll help connect you with the right resolution.

Please keep in mind that furniture, like any big-ticket item, is not returnable to the manufacturer for credit. However, manufacturers do offer repairs, replacements of parts, and other remedies depending on the issue and the terms of their warranty.

If you believe your furniture has a warranty-related issue, the first step is to contact FWDG at 843-891-1060. We'll review the situation with you and coordinate directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

What's Typically Covered Under Manufacturer Warranty

While every manufacturer's warranty is different, most furniture warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. This can include things like frame breakage, mechanism failure on recliners or sleeper sofas, and certain fabric or finish defects.

Warranties typically do not cover normal wear and tear, fading from sunlight, damage caused by misuse or accidents, or cosmetic preferences like comfort or color variation. Your FWDG sales associate can go over the specific warranty details for any item at the time of purchase.

Protection 1st (PRO1) Plans

Life happens — and that's exactly what Protection 1st (PRO1) plans are designed for. These optional protection plans have helped many of our customers when everyday accidents occur, covering incidents that fall outside of a standard manufacturer warranty.

PRO1 plans can cover things like accidental stains, rips, tears, burns, and other damage that happens during normal use in your home. It's an affordable way to add an extra layer of protection to your purchase and enjoy your furniture worry-free.

If you need to file a claim, we recommend contacting FWDG first at 843-891-1060 before calling Protection 1st directly. Our team can assist you in navigating the claims process and help make sure everything goes smoothly.
