Returns & Cancellations
We want you to be completely happy with your FWDG purchase. If something isn't right or your plans have changed, we're here to help. Below you'll find everything you need to know about our return and cancellation policies so there are no surprises.
Returning Ordered (Special Order) Items
When you place a special order at FWDG, we wait 24 hours before submitting the order to the manufacturer. During that initial 24-hour window, your order can still be cancelled. Once the order has been placed with the manufacturer, it becomes non-cancellable.
If your special order item has already been delivered, it may be returned within 24 hours of delivery for in-store credit, less a restocking/service charge of 30% of the total order. Please note that delivery fees on cancelled or returned orders will not be refunded or credited. If FWDG is required to pick up the returned items, an additional pickup charge will apply.
Small or inexpensive items may also require an additional charge to help cover shipping costs.

Returning In-Stock Items
For in-stock, regular-priced items, returns or cancellations may be made within 24 hours of the date of sale for a refund, less a 30% restocking fee and any delivery charges already incurred.
Items That Cannot Be Returned or Cancelled
To keep things transparent, the following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, refunded, or credited:
- Clearance and closeout merchandise
- "As Is" items
- Protection plans
- Table pads
- Rugs approximately 8' x 10' or larger
- Cut rug pads
- Adjustable bed bases
- Pillows of any type
- Yardage, arm or head covers
- Mattress pads and sheets
All clearance and closeout purchases are sold without warranty, as is, with no returns. No services will be performed on these items.

Mattress Comfort Guarantee
We want you to love your mattress. Certain mattresses at FWDG come with a comfort guarantee that gives you the confidence to try a new mattress knowing you have the option to exchange it if it's not the right fit.
To be eligible for the comfort guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
- You must allow FWDG to use the Support Report device to find the accurate mattress firmness for you.
- You must purchase and use a mattress pad with your new mattress.
- The mattress must be kept in good condition.
- You must sleep on the mattress for a minimum of 30 days before requesting an exchange.
- You must notify FWDG of your desire to exchange the mattress for a different model within the term of the guarantee.
A $200 fee applies to any return or exchange under the Comfort Guarantee. If you have already exchanged a mattress using the Comfort Guarantee, you are not eligible for an additional exchange. Any free items included with the original purchase — including free bases — must be paid for if the mattress is returned for any reason. A pickup fee will also be charged for any returned mattress.
How Refunds Work
If your original payment was made with cash or check, please allow up to 72 hours after the return of product for us to process the return and have a check ready for you to pick up or have mailed.
If the original purchase was financed, we will refund the finance company the appropriate amount. Charge card purchases will be refunded to the original card only. You will be responsible for any unpaid balances remaining on your finance or charge card account.

Can I return my furniture to FWDG?

Can I cancel a special order?
Special orders can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order — before it's been submitted to the manufacturer. After that, the order becomes non-cancellable.
What is the mattress comfort guarantee?
Certain mattresses come with a comfort guarantee that allows you to exchange your mattress for a different model after sleeping on it for at least 30 days. A $200 fee applies, and all eligibility conditions must be met.
How long does it take to get my refund?
Cash and check refunds are processed within 72 hours of the product being returned. Financed purchases are refunded to the finance company, and charge card refunds go back to the original card.
Are clearance items returnable?
No. All clearance, closeout, and "As Is" merchandise is final sale with no returns, exchanges, or credits.
